I have a programme with VOYA - recently I tried to exercise a withdrawal under the guise of their reasonings. I faxed all the proper paperwork into them 12 times. Why 12? Because each time I'd shout out they'd say something was missing. Faxing is antediluvian, withal this is their rule. After 12 attempts they finally aforesaid they had it. Ane of the documents is a certificate from my employer that you print from My Retirement Manager, again that was faxed 12 times. I called back to catch the status but to be told I need a trustee from my employer to act their break. I called my employer and they stated they had no idea what this agency and asked if I written the credential from My Retirement Manager, I said yes, they stated that's all that's needed.
I known as again to Atomic number 75-Control this and after speaking to countless managers they aforementioned the unchanged thing. "Get us contact processing and we will call you back." Let me say this...there has NEVER been 1 call returned to me, I visit them. I simply went through the motions afterwards a week of vocation to get MY MONEY and same ok. Zero one can explain what a trustee is to me or why a central processor would postulation it. I even titled my architectural plan Admin. to beat clarity, he has stated they hold never detected of this and suggested I get a 3 way call going to VOYA with them on the line to control things. This is vicious! Information technology's also unkind because my expectations are let inoperative.
I'm now meter reading the complaints filed against them from single entities and information technology mirrors what I am stating. Each time I call it's like the Twilight Zone, they act like they don't get laid what is going on and volition read bytes of whatever is noted. Afterwards two more weeks this issue is lastly resolved. I called back after I was hung up connected and spoke to soul who continuing to give me more ** excuses that they insert the system. The new excuse was that my Social Security number was base happening the form. I instantly titled him knocked out and said if it's wrong it's wrong in their system.
He told me he was pushing things through to the plan coordinator at the "highest importunity" to get things resolved and that I would comprise called back. Organism the pursuing Monday was Labor Day I told them they had til the end of the day Tuesday. They still did not call me back. Alas I had some other issues that united sprouted my time and I didn't arrive a chance to call them back to escalate things even off more.
That tailing Monday (9/14) I had to go to my old employer at any rate to see about getting a part and figured I would just talk to the accountant to see if perchance she had a contact that I did not to get information technology cleared leading. She made some phone calls and was told everything was in the financial department's hands and they couldn't give her any more information, but would call her back up.
I left and apparently she finally got to talk to someone on Tuesday (9/15) and they addicted that my social was wicked in their system. They corrected it and reissued defrayment on 9/16 which I ultimately got in my account today on 9/17.
Six weeks of battling to nonplus MY MONEY because of their "mistake". After reading some of the opposite reviews I think this may be a standard practice. Thither are far too many other people that have been told their social is wrong for it to represent a coincidence. I'll never recommend this company to anyone and if in the future my employer uses them I will forgo a 401k so not to founde them my money.

I was furloughed in April due to slowdown in gas and vegetable oil and Covid19. In June owing to the continued slowdowns my set up was eliminated. The job I was with had Prudent for my 401k and doing a withdrawal with them was the easiest thing I have ever done. I did everything online in 5 minutes and had the money in my account in 4 years.
Then we have Voya. I had an old 401k with them from a Book of Job I left in 2022. Information technology wasn't much money and since I could ingest advantage of the Cares Roleplay and take the withdrawal punishment free I figured I could take information technology and use the money to help with bills. I called July 31 because it would not rent out me sign in online disregardless what I did. I was told I had to have paperwork sent to me that I not only had to fill in, but that had to be subscribed away the accountant at my retired job. Why should someone else have to sign for me to take MY money? I filled out the paperwork and went and saw the accountant on Aug 3 and she faxed it in while I was there.
On Aug 11 the money hit my account. You'd remember it would end there and it would just be a difficult withdrawal process but no, it continues. Along August 19 I logged happening to my savings bank account and saw my equilibrize was much lower. I click on minutes and see that the amount Voya had deposited the week before has been taken back out. When I mouse click for more details it just says reversal.
I call customer service and after wait happening view as for nearly 30 minutes I finally puzzle over a rep. She looks into my calculate and can only allege that she sees the reversal but doesn't has an explanation to why. She told me she was going to make some calls and asked if they could call me back. I confirmed they could, but they never called back. I am a patient person indeed I decided to wait until the succeeding hebdomad to see if they would redeposit the money. They didn't.
On August 26 I named customer military service again. The repp over again had no factual answers to why it was reversed differently an "amount discrepancy." She informed ME she was putting an urgent just the ticket in to resolve the issue and asked that I didn't wait for them to remember, but for me to call them the following daylight for an update. On Aug 27 I named spinal column and the guy I spoke to said he could see the slate and it showed the new transaction was confirmed which meant I should see the deposit in a few days. Here we are on 9/4 and I still don't have my money I formally requested on 8/3.
I called customer service again and the rep still has no idea what is happening. She asked to put me connected hold while she made a call and after 3 minutes of being happening hold I was hung au courant. I know it wasn't me because when you "complete" a call with them they do a survey at the closing. I heard a click and then the survey voice came on so she definitely disconnected me.
I am expiration to give it a short time now before I phone back and demand a supervisor. In that respect is no reason information technology should be this difficult to withdraw my money. Thankfully I still had the money in my account when they took it back. What would happen if someone worn-out it as shortly as they got it because they needed to repay-rent Beaver State something? That person would be left thousands of dollars in the hole because of a companies incompetency. The fact that client service doesn't steady have answers is even more mind-blowing.

I requested a hardship withdrawal on 7/14/20. I requested this been through with via ACH and deposited into an account that they have had on filing cabinet for months. The transaction was completed connected 7/16/20 and "supposedly" ACH conveyed. I say supposedly because the money was never accepted in my score. I called them twice a day all 24-hour interval complete the past 10 days. Each Day they confident me that money would be in the news report the next business day. I talked to individual representatives, each one assured Pine Tree State that the money had not only left their offices but had been sent via ACH to my bank account on record. I verified the savings bank account selective information with them, which was correct.
Friday rolls around, the absolute give-up the ghost date for whatever case of deposit to have gone through and through via ACH, and again no money. I called them and stated clearly that I knew they were lying and I knew that they had not dispatched that money via ACH and as if by magic they recall with a different story. Now they tell me that the funds were sent come out of the closet in the form of a check along 7/17/20. I requested ACH, but somehow they magically decided to send me a check... Again, they privy me that the check should be in that respect no later than that Clarence Day (Friday 7/24/20). Again, no check was standard. I should be clear, the stocks in my history were sold. Money was embezzled from my stock accounting, so that money is someplace, but unluckily is not with me. this was a hardship withdrawal on a time sensitive matter and they rich person failed to deliver my own money to me in a apropos fashion.

My employer now uses Voya to manage my 401k. The modulation occurred at the end of March(2020). As of July 20th, 2022, I am unable to access my account online. I have called and emailed them numerous times. They have not responded to my emails, but have responded via phone only later I asked to speak to supervisor. The executive program I have been working with has at least returned my calls and tried to keep me informed of their IT departments work at fixing the trouble. However, three months seems very excessive to fix a job with accessing my account online. I would recommend winning your business to other company if able to.

I recently contacted Voya, receivable to I port companionship, and wanted to roll over my 401 k to my present 401 k company. I was told that my job did not show that I had left and that I would need to hold back until exterior of organisation. They ne'er mentioned requiring a PIN and had all my personal information. I contacted them again today and was told they could not help without a PIN (identical one I never got). I was directed to their site and motionless not able to get what I needful.
I called Voya again and told the same thing regarding PIN. They obtained my SSI, Address, and DOB but hindquarters't or Won't help me. Sorry caller in my opinion. So right away I have to wait another 5-7 days to get a Stick past mail. Seems to Maine you should have informed or did this at the commencement when I call your society. This is my money...not yours!!!! Needless to suppose, I am happy I North Korean won't be dealings with you for much thirster.

Workings with Voya as a reduced business is an complete nightmare. It feels like we are being held hostage by incredibly obsolete systems that take extremely specialized knowledge to use (with nobelium simple way to learn). It takes hours every other week just to accomplish simple, repeatable tasks that could easily personify automated. We aren't able to transition aside from Voya until the remnant of the year. I started out buying a life insurance policy from ING 8 years ago. After receiving my policy I had almost no contact with them. It was like pulling dentition trying to get information from them. Then Voya bought the policy from them and everything got even worsened. I speculation the good matter is I'm afraid to die because I don't believe they would level make up happening the policy. In my most recent experience, it has taken over four weeks (and counting) to process a standard climb-down. Merely put, I cannot access the funds in my account when needed.

To my please storm, I put in my claim on March 16, 2022, and received a direct deposit TODAY! Maybe the issue comes to people requesting paper checks? My experience with voya was excellent! Sporty in time to get my medical bills reply-paid before they can attend collections. Although, I did have to follow heavenward connected my reassessmen decision as it had exceeded 10 business years.
I followed up with client service on Thursday April 2, 2022, the repp then told Pine Tree State it would be expedited and to expect a decision within 48 business hours. I just knew it was a gip when I standard an email Saturday saying the funds had been paid and to hold 3 business days. I was going to give them until Friday before I followed up, but no need. The money is in fact in my describe today! My advice, translate the fine print, understand what is and isn't covered, this was rightfully a tranquil process from uploading the claim online to acquiring defrayment.

19 years ago, at the advice of my then banker, I transferred the money I had saved in a poorly performing annuity to VOYA. It was called something other then, but I cannot remember the aged describ. I reminiscence that the matter to rate was 7%/Year for ten years. When the contract was about to expire I attempted to middleman the representative to whom I was assigned. This person avoided my phone messages and emails concluded a 2 week time period which resulted in an automatic rollover at 1% for another 10 old age. I did everything that I could flirt with to get my money out dead. At one point I accepted an envelope with most 1/4" thickset stack of written document (legitimate boilerplate) explaining why my call for to was denied.
Since then I experience tried to get my money out of Voya's hands without paying an enormous penalty. To that end I discovered that if I requested the largest penalty unloosen climb-down each year I could withdraw about 10% of my monetary resource each year. Afterwards another frustrating phone call to VOYA, I have now had it explained that the automatic drug withdrawal application I had filed somehow only pays interest the first year. That was non good intelligence to me as it left me momentaneous nigh $8,000 for the year. I give requested to have this explanation in writing so that I can continue my quest to fix my funds come out of the closet of VOYA's hands as soon as possible. I have been dealing with this company for about a month straight off and after several attempts to withdraw on my account of my own money it has been almost impossible. This company lacks customer service and I make been lied to by several different representatives that work there. It all but seems as if atomic number 102 incomparable know what they are doing surgery speaking about. I Don't realize how amount this appendage is fetching so long you said it zero one seems to have an answer for ME and I was basically told to contact my employer who I no longer work for for help! Why ???? when voya has my money that I requested over a calendar month ago.

I just tried to contact them to change my address. They needed a fall code that I never got. When I tried to set it up it failed. So I sat on the phone for over 30 minutes just to get a undecomposable change done. When I in the end got someone they told me I needed a pin code OR I couldn't do anything. They were unwilling to help in any way. They did provide a fax number, but that was about information technology. I suggest you avoid this society. They definitely don't know what they are doing.

For any existing or future customers - Avoid Voya Financials for your retreat operating theater whatever other fiscal services. They have ready-made mistake on my 401K account while attempting to roll IT over to some other account. They cut the check on my balance even though the agreement with the customer service rep was to wait till the issue in question is resolute. They not only did not wait to get the suitable operating instructions, they cut the check and did not know how much of the balance was subject and how much was exempt on a transaction they have initiated. They then said they'd search this issue and get ahead endorse to me. I hold been waiting on their findings for over 2 weeks with none resolution, meanwhile losing on electric potential gains on my 401 funds they prematurely cut a check for. They don't take pertinent measure to resolve nor do they take initiative to correct the mistakes they make. Frightful company! Save yourself the misery and avoid Voya Financial for nifty!!!

I was injured busy and the workers comp forced me to quit with a settlement. I called to terminate my 401k because IT was only 724 dollars in it and wasn't worth rolling over into another cartesian product. I was told IT would cost 175 dollars to fire. I said okeh. The left over amount was 549. Then they same I would have to pay taxes thereon likewise and the final amount that would personify armoured to me would be 414 dollars. I aforementioned ok. I was told I needed to send in more paperwork of which I would experience to hire a lawyer to get. The cost of hiring a attorney far exceeded the $6,000.00 or so dollars that was in the account. We consume moved several accounts from Voya to Fidelity. Voya charged us a transfer fee along with the yearly care fee, and past a "conclusion" bung on top of that. Thankfully Fidelity picked up the fees on those accounts. Most freshly, we asked for the remaining balance of our daughter's educational savings account statement to Be distributed to us so that we could pay tuition. Voya charged U.S. a maintenance bung and a termination tip when they distributed the money which amounted to nearly 2%. That wasn't exactly what we were planning on when we set up a college nest egg plan. We've had accounts at Faithfulness, Avant-garde, Schwab, and E-Trade. Nowhere else have we seen these kinds of fees. We were put into the Voya accounts only because our financial deviser used them. If you are considering using an independent financial planner, I would stay clear of those World Health Organization use Voya.
